Some Important Facts about Sri Sai Divya Pooja

• Sai Divya Puja should be done on Thursday.
• It is not required to keep fast on Sai Divya Puja because Sai Baba does not like anyone to be on fasting. You can eat your meal regularly while doing this Puja.
• This Puja has to be done in the count of 5 or 7 or 11 or 21 Thursdays.
• Everyone including men, women and kids can take up this Puja.
• People belonging to any religion any faith or any can do this Puja, and there isn't any restriction.
• Have complete faith and devotion in the doing this Puja and it will definitely show up the fruits.

This puja is considered really fruitful and you can expect great results for the same in quick time. It's just that you will be required to do this Puja with great devotion and clear heart. You will need to take a small piece of white cloth that is of the size of your palm and put the same in turmeric water. And, it should be made to dry on the previous day of the Puja.

Sri Sai baba pooja Method

The Puja is done on Thursday and on this day an idol or photo of Sai Baba is put in the Puja room. Then you will have to put Tilakam or Chandanam for completing the Puja. In this Puja, you will also be required to make a garland of flowers particularly the sweet and scented one and out it on Sai Baba idol/Puja. Also, ghee lamp is lit during this Puja and Dhoop, Agarbatti is also offered during the Puja. Alos, while doing the Puja, picture of Ganesha idol or the picture of some other idol is put beside that of Sai Baba picture. After everything is ready for the Puja, you will be required to put a coin of 1Rs or 2 Rs in front of Sai Baba picture wrapped in a piece of cloth that is immerged in turmeric. While performing the Puja you will be required to ask Baba to complete your wish and do the Puja for 5 or 7 or 7 or 11 or 21 weeks. Keep all these items in front of Sai Baba picture. You will only be required to do this procedure of tying the coin in the cloth only during the first day when you start with the Puja.

You will be required to keep some mixed flowers for performing the Puja. Also, you will be required to read the sai sachirtira book and say the ashtotram. Then as per the ritual you will be required to meditate on Sai Baba and sing Sai Bab song and cook Khichadi as Prasadam and then offer the same to Baba. After completing the weeks, you will be required to do the Udyapan process, invite kids, poor people, and other orphans for taking up the Udayapan Puja.

As per your wishes you can distribute books of Sai Baba in the range of 5, 11, 21 or 101. This book is believed to tell those miraculous stories of Sai Baba existence and how it teaches to follow the good path in every situation. People can distribute these books in any number there isn't any kind of restriction. The more books you will be distributing the better it will be, because that way you are spreading the great messages that Baba always wanted people to inculcate in their lives.

And, one noteworthy point here is that unlike any other Pooja, in this Puja you will able to interact with God and feel him only if you are not empty stomach. Baba says that I don't want my devotees to keep fast because that does not entice me in any way.

After completion of the Puja, and finishing off with the number of weeks you have vowed to do the Pooja, you may again start afresh with another vow of 5, 11 or 21 weeks of taking up the Pooja. And, Baba understands its devotees predicament and if you are not able to complete your Puja on a particular Thursday for some reason then you can always do the same on the next Thursday, its just that you have to complete the number of weeks as vowed.

So, these are some important things that one must take care of while doing the Sai Baba Puja. And, doing this with full devotion it will surely come out with fruitful results!
