This is a Kannada film which was released in the year 1989. It was produced and directed by Om Sai Prakash and he also acted in the lead role. Rajkumar, Brahmavar and Vijaylakshmi also acted in this film. In this film a child is born toa Hindu couple with the blessings of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva, but the parents of the child abandons him and leaves him in the forest, he is found by a Muslim couple who raise him.The child grows up to be Sai Baba. He goes to the Himalayas and returns to Shirdi, where he preached communal harmony and all the people of Shirdi are amazed by his powers. The rest of the film shows how Sai Baba enters his Samadhi and Sathya Sai Baba isborn, who is the reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba.
3. Sri Sai Mahima:This Telegu film was directed by Ashok Kumar and released in 2000. Sai Prakash acted in the main role and Murali Mohan, Jaya Sudha and P.J. Sharma are the other actors of this film. The film begins with Sri Sai Baba getting settled down in Shirdi. From this point onwards the narrator gives an insight into the simplicity, religious tolerances and the teachings of this revered saint. With the help of computer graphics the miraculous powers of Sai Baba are shown with incredible reality. The devotional music lends a unique charm to the film. This film is more of a documentary on the life of this great saint.
4. Maalik Ek:This Hindi film on Sai Baba is directed by Deepak Balraj Vij and was released on 29th October, 2010. The film introduces Sai Baba as a fakir who asked for alms and was shunned by the Shirdi villagers in his earlier days.The film shows sporadic anecdotes of Sai Baba’s miracles, using the clichéd chronicles of injustice on the farmers, courtesan, manipulative money lender, a limp, who is blessed with legs and a brother who unites with his sister on Raksha Bandhan.
